The Montclair Swim Team takes new swimmers twice a year, in the Spring and Fall. Coach Bill is looking for swimmers with interest in learning and competing.
He will first evaluate a swimmer at a short individual session. If the swimmer appears to have a disposition for the sport, he will invite the swimmer to the Pre-Guppy clinic, a one week session where he helps to demonstrate proper form for all four strokes and evaluates the swimmer’s readiness for practice and meets.
If the swimmer appears ready, they will be able to join the team at the beginning of the next session. Pre-Guppy Clinics are held in March and September every year.
