Montclair Swimmer breaks Pacific Record in 50 fly!

It took a while for Pacific Swimming’s “continuous log of new Pacific records” to catch up but it now finally lists Zach Le-Nguyen’s 10&under 50 fly Pacific record of 27.23 seconds (short course). Zach broke the record in June by over 3/4 of a second (an eternity in swimming) and is listed on the same document as such luminaries as Missy Franklin, Ryan Murphy and Justin Lynch.

Zach is one of the more humble super-fast swimmers you’ll ever meet but feel free to congratulate him on this amazing accomplishment as long as it’s not during his 15 minute meditative state before a race!
